IeIloura. <br /> i <br /> Call Meeting Mrs. Lynch called the regular meeting to order at 7:08 p.m. in High <br /> To Order school room B 103. <br /> 11 Approval of 2.1 Executive session of br ]- , 1 - Motion made by Mr. <br /> Minutes Paxton, seconded by Ms. Macdonald, to approve the minutes of the <br /> executive session of February 4, 1998. <br /> VOTE Unanimous <br /> 2.2 R gul .r Meeting tin f March .4, 1998 -- Motion made by Mrs. <br /> Cook, seconded by fl . Macdonald, to approve the minutes of the <br /> regular- meeting of March 4, 1998. <br /> TE: Unanimous <br /> 2.3 Executive Session of March 4, 1998 - Motion made by Mr. <br /> Paxton, seconded by IVIS. Macdonald, to approve the minutes of the <br /> executive session of march 4. 1998. <br /> VOTE: In favor - Mrs. Lynch, ibis. Macdonald, Mrs. Mills, and Mr. <br /> Paxton; abstained - Mrs. cook. <br /> l 1 . Public Forum Phyllis sprout addressed the committee regarding excerpts from <br /> "Freedom to Learns', a new organization with an important message <br /> for educators, parents and students. This article deals with the <br /> Roe v. Wade abortion issue. Mrs. sprout explained since the <br /> passage of this lav in 1973, it was dramatically altered in 1992 <br /> when the U.- S. supreme court ruled on "Planned Parenthood v. <br /> Casey." Because of this action, ll rs. Sprout urged the School <br /> Committee to "tell both sides of the story...and end one generation <br /> of censorship." <br /> W. o i g- 4.1 Random Acts of Kindness - Quashnet Valle - Mr. Tippo <br /> meats explained that Christ the King's St. Vincent de Paul Society <br /> thanked the Quashnet Valley school for their contributions to the <br /> pantry. Also, a "thank you" was received from the cape cod <br />
