MASHPEE PUBLIC SCHOOLS REGULAR MEETING APRIL 1, 1998 Minutes Attendees: Chairwoman Kathleen Lynch, 'Theresa cook, Maryanne Macdonald, Janice Mills, and Stephen Paxton. Also in attendance was Superintendent of Schools Dr. Lincoln . Public Forum Phyllis sprout addressed the committee regarding excerpts from "Freedom to Learns', a new organization with an important message for educators, parents and students. This article deals with the Roe v. Wade abortion issue. Mrs. sprout explained since the passage of this lav in 1973, it was dramatically altered in 1992 when the U.- S. supreme court ruled on "Planned Parenthood v. Casey." Because of this action, ll rs. Sprout urged the School Committee to "tell both sides of the story...and end one generation of censorship." W. o i g- 4.1 Random Acts of Kindness - Quashnet Valle - Mr. Tippo meats explained that Christ the King's St. Vincent de Paul Society thanked the Quashnet Valley school for their contributions to the pantry.
