R � Macdonald, to approve the minutes of the joint meeting with the Selectmen and Leisure Services on March 30, 1998. NOTE: Unanimous 2.8 Executive Session - April 1, 1998 - Motion made by lir. Paxton, seconded by Mrs. Mills, to approve the minutes of the executive session held on April 1, 1998. TE: In favor - Mrs. Lynch, Ms. Macdonald, Illus. Mills, and Mr. Paxton; abstained - Mrs. Cook. 2.9 Special Meeting (FY99 Budget) - April 14, 1998 -- Motion made by Mrs. Cool, seconded by Ms. Macdonald, to approve the minutes of the special meeting of April 1 , 1998. George Navin addressed the Committee to ask if one class will be held at the Coombs School next year for the collaborative students. Dr. I eMoura said one room at the Coombs School has been set aside for the 1998-1999 school year with contingency based on enrollments. Phyllis Sprout expressed concerns over her appointment to the community-based reading curriculum committee noting the lack o notification of upcoming meetings. She asked the Committee to define community Participation. Also, Mrs. Sprout reiterated correspondence she had mailed to the Director for o Instruction last year.
