Communications 5.1 Pannone Correspondence dated April 199 - This letter <br /> expressed the viers of Stephen and Patricia Pannone requesting <br /> the School Committee to reconsider thee- position on eliminating <br /> the Project Contemporary Competitiveness program next year. <br /> .2 Swearing-In Ceremony - Allay 11, 1998, *down Hall - The <br /> Swearing-In Ceremony for newly-elected Town Officials is set for <br /> Monday, May 11, 1998 at 10:00 a.m. in Town Hall, <br /> 5.3 Thr. DeMoura - Non-Renewal of Current Contract - Dr. <br /> L eMoura read aloud a letter dated May 6, 1998 informing the <br /> Committee that he does not wish to have his "contract extended <br /> beyond the current expiration slate ofJune 30, 1999." <br /> Motion made by Mr. Paxton, seconded by Ms. Macdonald, to <br /> approve Dr. lelllloura's request for non-renewal of his current <br /> contract beyond the current expiration date of dune 30, 1999. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> Student Student Advisory Council representative ,Chris Maguire was unable <br /> Advisory to attend this evening's meeting. However, Mr. Williams spoke <br /> Council with Chris this afternoon and he had no issues to discuss. <br /> I. Report of the 7.1 Personnel - Dr. lel oura informed the Committee of the <br /> Superintendent following personnel issues.- <br /> Maternity <br /> ssues.Maternity Leave - Laura McBride <br /> Resignations - Jean Buchanan, Special Education, KCC <br /> Secretary/Bookkeeper, Community Partnership Grant - <br /> Mariana Caozoli <br /> 7.2 Food Servicepdate - Dr. DeMoura reported a loss of <br /> $3,409.59 in March with a Program Balance of$79,186.30. <br /> 7.3 Enrollmcnts - Dr. DeMoura noted an increase in pre-school <br /> students to 46 at the Coombs school while otherwise enrollments <br /> are "stable." Totals are: Coombs school - 534; Quashnet all <br /> y <br /> School - 438; Quashnet River School - 344; Mashpee High School <br /> - 517; Falmouth High School - 147 with a total district total o <br /> 1,980. There are currently 61 Mashpee students attending Cape � <br /> Cod Tech. <br />
