The grant would pay o% of the contract <br /> price and the government would pay 0% directly to the contractor <br /> (E rate). However, the future of E nate legislation is doubtful. It i <br /> felt the school system should move forward with the total project. <br /> This would require an additional $29,382.'75. Network <br /> Administrator Joseph Augenblick addressed the Committee stating <br /> that bids came in at $1'70,000; 120,000; and $74,000. He said a <br /> Partial installation will result in additional expense in future years <br /> and will not allow the school system training and Internet <br /> capabilities. <br /> After discussion, Mrs. Lynch asked where the money would corm <br /> roc r. I el o ra said at this time he was unsure. <br /> Discussion - then ensued on purchasing high school textbooks <br /> totaling $62,000 without consulting the Committee. Dr. DeMoura <br /> said extra books were purchased because all high school texts <br /> were removed by the Committee from the FY919 budget. without <br /> textbook purchases, high school students would be lacking texts. <br /> Nis.
