MASHPEE SCHOOL COMMI7T - REGULAR MEETING - JULY 1, 1998 PAGE 3 <br /> .4 Eacilities Report - School Facilities Supervisor Don Cook <br /> updated the Committee on the following issues: <br /> Coombs Sri: <br /> AC improvements have begun. The work within the <br /> classrooms will be completed first then the common areas and <br /> exterior will follow. Scheduled completion date is September <br /> 4th. <br /> Carpeting replacement for the library and main office will <br /> commence on June 29th. <br /> Cafeteria blinds sent out for cleaning and repairs. <br /> Canvas railing covers sent out for cleaning. <br /> New lines will be painted on the gymnasium floor. <br /> QLiashnet Schools: <br /> • The front entry is scheduled for the removal and replacement <br /> commencing June 29th. <br /> • Cafeteria blinds and curtains sent out for cleaning and repairs. <br /> • Cafeteria and kitchen are scheduled for , painting by <br /> maintenance staff. <br /> fft School: <br /> Additional seeding is scheduled for the stadium field and the <br /> baseball/softball outfields. <br /> Additional fertilization is scheduled for all the turf areas. <br /> Gyne, stage and fitness room wood floors will be refinished as <br /> required for annual maintenance. <br /> System-Wide: <br /> 0 Annual maintenance contracts have been renewed. <br /> Mrs. Mills expressed concerns with the cleanliness of the high <br /> school restroorns and locker rooms. fir. DeMoura said the <br /> restrooms have been addressed. Discussion followed on the <br /> cleanliness of the high school in general. Mrs. Cook the <br /> procedures that have been set in place need to be enforced. <br /> Dr. DeMoura will spew with Mr. Williams on the high school <br /> cleanliness issue. <br />
