Dr. I el ioura <br /> granted her request. <br /> During discussion, Mrs. Lynch noted that in the teachers' contract, <br /> there is a clause that states teachers on a sabbatical leave are not <br /> allowed to teach. Dr. lel to ra clarified that Miss Alberico is not <br /> teaching but a part-time assistant. Mrs. Lynch asked Dr. <br /> I eMoura to check with Attorney William Butler on the state law. <br /> 7.2 Food service J' date - Dr. I eMoura informed the Committee <br /> of the year-end revenue figure of $19,416.30 wlth a net operating <br /> cost of $17,462.59. An August profit of $1,953.71 for the summer <br /> programs. Maintenance costs for July and August totaled <br /> $1,612.25. Dr. DeMoura said the opening figure for the 1997- <br /> 1998 school year was $90,111-16 with a close-out balance of <br /> $87,357.90 with a net loss of $2,753.26. Upon checking with the <br /> Town Accountant, Dr. I eMoura was informed ed the opening balance <br /> for the 1998-1999 school year was $88,402.01. <br /> 7.2.1 Amendment to Agreement.of Food Service Contract - Motion <br /> made by Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Lynch, to .discuss the <br /> amendment. After discussion on this issue, Mrs. Lynch made ars <br /> amendment to Mrs. Mills' motion to obtain a legal opinion from the <br /> school attorney. Motion was seconded by Ms. Macdonald. <br />
