COMMITTEEE - REGULAR MEETING - NOVEMBER 2, 1998 PAGE <br /> 10.1.4 Curriculum - Ms. Macdonald said meetings have been <br /> held regarding the Consumer Science, Science and Art <br /> curriculum revisions. <br /> 10.2 External Reports <br /> 10.2.1 Cape Cod Collaborative - Mrs. Mills stated there will <br /> be a meeting held on November 5, 1998. Also an Open <br /> House is being planned. <br /> 10.2.2 Leisure Services -- Ms. Macdonald said there was no <br /> quorum thus no meeting was held. Another meeting is <br /> scheduled for November 10, 1998. <br /> 10.2.3 Legislation - Mrs. Cook said there is nothing new to <br /> report. <br /> 10.2.4 Safe Transportation Task Force - Mrs. Lynch said the <br /> next meeting is set for ,January but possibly one will <br /> be scheduled sooner to discuss some on-going issues. <br /> She also mentioned there is still no on-site manager in <br /> the Mashp e dispatch office although the contract <br /> states that a dispatcher must be in Laidlaw"s Mashpee <br /> office. <br /> 10.2.5 Personnel Committee - once again, Mr.. Paxton said <br /> these meetings will be scheduled on an "as-needed" <br /> basis. <br /> 10.2.6 Boosters club - Mrs. Lynch reminded that any new <br /> organizations in Ilashpee who grant to use the <br /> llashpee Public Schools' name must obtain School <br /> Committee approval before doing so. She was unable <br /> to attend the last Boosters Club meeting. <br /> 10-2.7 Education Foundation - Mrs. Cooly said the Education <br /> Foundation by-laws state that members are appointed <br /> by the School Committee. Volunteers to this <br /> committee will be solicited through the newspapers. <br /> They meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month at <br /> :00 a.m. Any interested volunteers were encouraged <br /> to contact Mrs. Cook. <br />
