Mr. Cromwell then turned the <br /> discussion over to Mark D ib b (Civil Engineer). Mark B Ibb referred to the Feb. 28, 2012 issues and <br /> action items list they provided and he went through all the items listed with the exception of building <br /> comments, item 14 on the list. A copy of the Feb. 28 document list is attached to the printed set of <br /> these minutes. Following M r. B ibb rs discussion, Wayne Benson (Architect) addressed item 14. <br /> Variance application has been submitted. <br /> 0 Under item 16, fir. Dibb said the building will function and the parking as well so they need <br /> zoning for that time frame for the temporary location of trailers during construction and they will <br /> be removed during occupancy of the building. <br /> 0 Tribe would like access to the road and gated area but the public would use normal access <br /> road. <br /> Creation of buffers at the front so they are proposing future area for gravel parking i n the back <br /> for poor-roar type use. <br /> Mary LeBlanc noted that Plan shows they are grading to the property line. Mark said they will <br /> revise the Plans to put pine trees in there. <br /> Tom Fudala stated that under C1 and C2 buffer not required. He said itis a good thing to do, <br /> but not required. <br /> Walter suggested moving handicap parking so it isn't across road: and it should be striped. <br /> Mark said they will take a look at it. <br /> Wayne Benson discussed building comments—item 14. <br /> They've added rooftop screen. <br /> Showed samples of stone, shingle, roofing materials, etc. <br /> 0 U.S. Fish and Wildlife shady shovers.there are no endangered species on the property} Drew <br /> McManus said they should check on the whole area—not just Tribe property. In addition, they <br /> have to check with Massachusetts State Heritage also. <br /> No gutters on building, but on porch cover there is a gutter. <br /> Ice pads on the roof <br /> Walter suggested doing sound study, particularly at conservation side of the property. He said <br /> they may want to charge that roof side material to decrease sound level. Wayne Benson said <br /> they could do that. <br /> Mr. Cromwell stated they submitted height variance application and submitted buildings in Mashpee <br /> that are in excess of 35 feet-for example, Mashpee Library and Christ the King Church. Mr. <br /> Cromwell said if they were approved they look for same consideration. <br /> Wayne Beason (Architect) said topography is a hardship and functions in the building such as the <br /> gym require height. <br /> Bob Nelson noted that in order for ZBA to grant the variance they have to know the basis. Mr. <br /> Beason said they measured around the building and averaged the grade. <br /> 3 <br />
