Minutes of Combined Meeting Of <br /> Mashpoe Design Review Committee and <br /> Maehpee Plan Review committee <br /> Held Tuesday, June 19, 201 <br /> Mash pee Town Hall Meeting Room I <br /> Design Review Members Present; Walter Yarosh, and Jonathan Furbush <br /> Plan Review Members Present: <br /> Charlie laintanis, Local Inspector <br /> George Baler, Fire Chief <br /> Glen Harrington, Health Agent <br /> Catherine Laurent, DPW Director <br /> Scoff Carline, Police Department <br /> Also Present: Joel Clifford, Fire Inspector <br /> Charlie Maintanis called the meeting to order at 9:07 a.m. <br /> Informal Discussion- <br /> National Development - <br /> Assisted living facility <br /> Single story building –40,000 to 45,000 square foot <br /> Containing 48 to 59 units <br /> Corner of Donna's Lane and Great Neck Road South <br /> Representative — Jeffrev Ford - <br /> Mike Ford and Ted Tye appeared. Mike Ford addressed the Committee members saying this is a <br /> project that is a mandatory development of regional imp-act and therefore once formally filed with <br /> Town they would be reviewed by cape cod Commission. He said purchase and sale agreement with <br /> ashpee commons to buy so National Development would be owner of the parcelb Mike Ford said <br /> Tom Fudala strongly recommended they come to this Board informally for feedback and they will go <br /> tomorrow night for informal discussion with Planning Board. They had first meeting with staff of Cape <br /> CodCommission-. Mike said they have to satisfy Cape cod Commission requirements—one of which <br /> is 10% have to be affordable. <br /> Parcel in c-1 zoning district. Lot already subdivided into 3.7 aures. <br /> This project does not fit neatly into some -1 requirements so they are seeking to go to Planning <br /> Board as a commercial center and in context of that Special Permit will seep some relief from some of <br /> the various requirements. This will be the first step or first phase of Mashpee Commons development <br /> of this particular Job's Fishing road parcel. Commercial center would be the Special Permit <br /> springboard for the local permit and that's one of the things they're going to talk to the Planning Board <br /> about tomorrow n ig ht..wh a re they fit in the zoning by-lair with respect to that. Mike said it is <br /> commercial center use} not assisted living. <br />
