• 4� <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 0 Mr. Lawrence moved to appoint Mr. Hanson , John Wiley, John Ferguson, <br /> Richard Shaughnessy and Pamela Davis to the Town Hall Studer Committee. <br /> Mr. Carter seconded the motion . All were in favor. <br /> . a All were in favor of the regular Board of Selectmen meeting <br /> being held April 5 , 1988 at 7 : 00 p.m. Tuesday <br /> Mr. Murphy will post 5 and 5 meetings at Middle School <br /> and reorganization of Board will be May 9 , 1988 at 8 : 00 a.mo <br /> . Mr. Lawrence moved that the Board appoint Christina Van Deusen to <br /> the Handicap Committee . Mr. Hanson seconded the motion . All were in <br /> favor. <br /> . Mr. Lawrence moved to appoint Father Ronald Tos t i and Father Ronald <br /> LeMay to the Mashpee Police Department Chaplain ' s Unit , Selectman <br /> Carter seconded the motion . All were in favor. <br /> 5 . Communication from the Department of Environmental Management relative <br /> relative to a proposed purchase of land north of Route 28 , Mashpee, <br /> asking 1 . provide public notice of this purchase and 2 . To have <br /> the Board of Selectmen waive the 120 day period so that the department <br /> may acquire the property sooner. <br /> Mr. Gottlieb moved to waive the 1 o' day period . Mr. Lawrence <br /> seconded the motion. All were in favor. <br /> Request for Legal Services from the Conservation Commission asking <br /> for written opinion in regard to structures , "is there a difference <br /> between raised decks and those at ground level" . <br /> Mrs , Thomas stated that the Conservation Commission approach the <br /> Building Inspector and have hire make the decision. <br /> . Five Articles by petition for the Board ' s review. Mrs . Thomas stated <br /> that there was . o need for the Board to act on this item. <br /> . Mr. Carter moved to abate two ambulance bills for Patrolman Juskiewicz <br /> and Patrolman Clancy who were injured on duty. All were in favor. <br /> 9 , Mr. Gottlieb moved to approve a step increase for Sandra Noddy from <br /> Step 1 to step 2 retroactive to 11./14/87 . All were in favor. <br /> 10 . Board reviewed warrant to see ghat articles would apear and in what <br /> order. <br /> Mr. Gottlieb roved to -go into Executive Session )to discuss ongoing litigations <br /> and negotiations with U .S .
