All were <br /> in favor. Mr, Carter was net present for the vote. <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEA I-N s <br /> 1 . A hearing was held regarding the sign at Camp Farley. The <br /> owners of the camp have received a notice of violation of <br /> the town ' s zoning by-laws sign regulations . The violation <br /> falls under Section 10 . 3. 4 regarding private signs located on <br /> town property, It appears that the sign is located, partially <br /> within the layout of Route 130/Main Street . <br /> -7: 0 0 p <br /> The hearing will abe ,continued on May ' 8'at <br /> x -atm-whi h .-thrid there will'mw be a~- kI'tten�Pol-i- -from town eou ft el <br /> concerning indemnification from owners of the sign to the town <br /> holding the town harmless . Also written into the permit <br /> would be that within a 30 or 60 day written notification <br /> than the sign would have to be moved -at the owner I s expense <br /> if the town had to widen the road or make any improvements . <br /> Mr* Hanson went on record as being opposed to the sign being <br /> located on town property without anything in writing to protect <br /> the town , <br /> 2 . 1358 Shellfish Regulations Hearing - Vern Thomas attended to <br /> present the Board with the new regulations . The only changes <br /> to the Rules & Regulations were se.etions I . When using any type <br /> of basket rake all cull material shall be returned to the water <br /> where it was taken. K. shellfish may be taken only by hand, net , <br /> tongs , rake or hand plunger. Shovels and hoes not permitted. <br /> Any types of mechanical harvesting equipment shall not be used <br /> except with special permission from the Hoard of Selectmen . <br /> Dragging for scallops is only allowed in the main channels of <br /> Waguo i t and Popponesset Hay. ,and L. Any holes dry-duck between <br /> high and low- mean water shall be filled after shellfishing. . <br /> License fees have re aiineds the same .
