Mr. Carter stated that, he ' woulwd respond to a .letter from Eugene Cavanaugh of Deartment of Environmental Management in regard to Popponesset Bair Dredge Financial Statement Lew Sayre Schwartz attended to discuss matters relating to Popponesset Bair - - 1. Disbursement of remaining dredging - funds - discussion of $12 , 000 for channel markers . $12 , 000 for a third channel - Mr. Carter will address this issue . . Weekend Patrols - Chester Koblinsky indicated that there will be(atrol x in Popponesset Bay this Saturday between 2 :00 p .m. Nor—and : p.m. and on Sunday 12 : o p .m. - 4 :00 p.m. - the schedule will chance from wee} to week depending on tides and • where patrols are needed . Mrs , Jacobson stepped down on this issue. OLD BUSINESS 1. . Appointments held from June 20 , 1988 Mr. Gottlieb moved to appoint Eugene Narr as Civil Defense for a two month period. Mr. Carter seconded the motion . All were in favor. Mrs . Jacobson roved to appoint Leslie- Ann Morse as Assistant Town Counsel* Mr. Carter seconded the motion. All were in favor. Mr. Gottlieb moved to appoint Elliot Rosenberg and Louise Behrman to the Conservation Commission. Mr. Carter questioned whether Mrs , Behrman should be onto boards that handle the same issues . Mr. Gottlieb w1 thdrew the mot ion . Mr. Gottlieb then moved to appoint Eliot Rosenberg to the Conservation Commission . Mr. Carter seconded the motion. All were in favor. Mr. Gottlieb moved to appoint Louise Behrman to the Conservation . Mr, anter ted to hold off on the vote , Mrs . Jacobson stepped down from thse votes , Mr. Gottlieb moved to appoint Maria D. Turner and Rev. McBride to the Youth Commission . Mr. Carter seconded the motion . All were in favor. Mr. Gottlieb moved to appoint Manuel Glickman to the Personnel Board, Mrs , Jacobson seconded the motion .' All were in favor.
