Mr. Murphy informed the Board regarding Seller corporation t New seabUry. Seiler Corporation has forwarded the application for a seasonal liquor license to New seabury for review and the application will 1e submitted to the Town. Mr. carter mored to grant a one day permit to Seiler Corporation at New Seabury to serge beer and wine on September 6, 1988. Mrs . Jacobson seconded the motion. All were in favor . Mr . Lawrence stepped down from the vote. NEW BUSINESS 1 . Mr. Gottlieb moved that Veronica garden be allowed to work a s hour work week in accordance with the Town' s contract with the Clerical Un-l on. Mrs. Jacobson seconded .the motion. All were in favor. 2. Mr. Fudala attended to discuss with the Board the hiring of an Assistant Town Planner and the fact that he would l i Ise authorization to appoint two candidates in the event that the first candidate is not available for the position, Mrs . Jacobson moved to appoint Arthur Traczyk to the position of Assistant Town Planner and Zak Tucker if Mr. Traczyk is not available. Mr. Gottlieb seconded the motion, Mr, Lawrence and Mr, Carter were in favor, Mr. Hanson obsta i ned from the vote. . The Board discussed a memo from Mr. Murphy regarding a Change order for school Contract* The change is to furnish and install relocated underground conduit to new pole location including removal of overburden. Mr . Lawrence suggested that action be defer--red until an explanation is available at the September 12 , 1988 meeting.
