Carter~ moved to extend the appointments of Laurie Quilty <br /> and Holly Souza to the Paris & Recreation Department as Head <br /> Lifeguards toJune 30 , 1989. M . Manson seconded the <br /> motion. All were in favor . <br /> 2 . Mrs . Jacobson moved to accept the changes proposed by Town <br /> Counsel , Joseph Reardon in the anti—noiseby—law; adding the <br /> words "dwellings , shelters , boat , conveyance . . . and ""motor <br /> vehicle"" . Mr . Carter seconded the motion. All were in <br /> favor . <br /> The Beard discussed a communication from Joseph Reardon <br /> relative to the Houseboat —Law. The Board decided to <br /> refer the issue back to Townunset to eliminate the <br /> reference to "'watercraft"' under paragraph a. <br /> , The Board agreed to discuss Mr . Murphy' s communication <br /> regarding "'free cash"' during next week" s meeting. <br /> " ER <br /> 1 . Mr . Lawrence read a proclamation in reference to Wednesday, <br /> September 21 , 1988- being declared Laura Green Darr. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 1 . Mr . Gottlieb moved to appoint Elinor K. Walsh as a Board <br /> Secretary o the Appeals Board. Mr . Hanson seconded. the <br /> Motion. All were in favor . <br /> . Mrs . Jacobson moved to deny Seiler Corporat ion" s request for <br /> a one day beer and wine permit for September 21 , 1988 since <br /> no seasonal liquor license appy.ication has been received to <br /> data from New Seabury Corporation. Mr , Hanson seconded the <br /> motion. All were in favor , Mr . Lawrence stepped down from <br /> the vote. <br /> , Mr . Gottlieb moved to grant a one day all alcoholic beverage <br /> permit for the Mae pee Rod ,and Gun Glut on September 29, <br /> 1988. Mr . Carter seconded the motion. All were in favor . <br /> 4 . Mr . Gottlieb moved that Wendy Rubin be authorized to <br /> participate in the 1988 National. Congress for Parks <br /> Recreation to be held -from October 6 — 10, 1988 in <br /> Indianapolis , Indiana. Expenses would total approximately <br /> $396- 00 for air fare and hotel . Mr . Carter- seconded the <br /> motion. All were in favor . <br />
