The Board reviewed a number of articles for placement on the Warrant for the November Special Town Meeting. Mr. carter roved to place t+.he following two articles submitted by the Department of Public Works on the Warrant for the November Special Town Meeting: I . To see if the Town will vote to appate $6, 500ropr' o DPW we account from DPW workans salary account, oF take any other acton raleating thereto, 2. To see if the Town will vote to raise end appropriate $17, 500 . 00 to engineer and 'Lake by eminent domain Ped Brook Road from the intersection o Great Neck Road south to Falmouth Town Line since there is currently no Town Erna i neer, the funding for the project ou l d come from the Town Engineer salary) . Mrs , Jacobson seconded the motion. Mr, Lawrence was in favor . Mr. Gott1 1'eb was not present for the vote. w An article for funding for the previously authorized position of Deputy Fire Chief submitted by the Fire Chief. The Board agreed that this article should be discussed with the chief at e later time. An article requesting funding for a new Ambulance submitted by the Fire h i of. This amount was used for additional moving expenses for the Fire chief, The Board agreed that this Article should be sponsored by the Board of Selectmen.
