Mr. Carter seconded the motion. <br /> Mr . L wrence was in favor and Mr. Gottlieb was not present <br /> for -the vote. <br /> 6. Mr. L rence roved - o approve the request of the Mashpee <br /> Arts Council to place signs publicizing OKTOBERFEST '88 at <br /> he Mashpee Rotary, at the Middle School and at the entrance <br /> to -Great Neck Road No, on the day of the event, Mr , Carter <br /> seconded the oration . Mrs . Jacobson was in favor and Mr. Gottlieb <br /> was not present for the vote. <br /> 7 . Mr . Gottlieb discussed the job description for the Town <br /> Engineer. He advised the Board that the only significant <br /> charge to ,fob description .i that rather than requiring n <br /> applicant to be a registered surveyor that the job <br /> description will state that it is preferred. Mr, Car-tear and <br /> Mrs . Jacobson approved the job description. Mr . Lawrence <br /> was not present for the discussion. <br /> . The Board denied a Request for Legal Services from the Board <br /> of Health requesting assurance to a land owner that if <br /> building and septic permits are issued prior o the <br /> institution of a Cape wide moratorium that these permits <br /> retain their validity. Mr. carter stated that Town counsel <br /> could not give assurance due to the uncertainty of the <br /> moratorium non-binding refferendum/ legislation has yet to <br /> be written) . Mr. Gottlieb was not present for the <br /> discussion, <br /> . Mr. carter moved to approve the request of United Way to <br /> erect a thermometer-type sign the Mashpee Rotary, subject <br /> o -the apDroval DPW. Mrs . Jacobson seconded the motion, <br /> Mr. Lawrence was in favor and Mr. Gottlieb was not present <br /> for the vote. <br /> l <br />
