Ken Bates also mentioned to Alec that Beacon Contract Dredging was parking a barge near the <br /> Popponesset Spit as was the County Dredge Team. Notification will be made to both parties to remove <br /> the vessels. The County Booster barge was a part of the Approach Channel Dredge Project. <br /> DNR Director/Shellfish,Constable Report: <br /> Rick York stated that on July 9`h,at 6:30 PM,the annual Water Quality Results for 2017 will be presented <br /> at the Selectmen Meeting. This assessment will update the status of the Town's waterways and the <br /> monitoring of trends concerning the nitrogen levels of our embayments. <br /> Rick also notified the Committee that Brian Everett,the Shellfish Warden, had resigned. <br /> Committee Reports: <br /> Mashpee/Wakeby Lake and Johns Pond—No additional comments <br /> Popponesset Bay Area -No additional comments <br /> Waquoit Bay Area—No additional comments <br /> Water Quality Update—NO additional comments <br /> Barnstable County Coastal Resources Committee Update—No report <br /> Sewer Committee Update Report—No report, no recent meetings <br /> Public Access Update <br /> Catherine Laurent(DPW)gave another update on the Ockway Bay development project Based on the <br /> previous meeting discussions,she presented an updated paved parking plan layout. She noted some <br /> revisions near the ramp, all more than SO feet from the coastal bank. She will file a notice of intent for <br /> mitigation. To optimize available space and utility,she is now considering going from 17 to 20 trailer <br /> spaces,and decreasing vehicle parking from 12 to 9 or 10 spaces. <br /> Catherine will also look at the width of the vegetative buffer to increase the length of the turning radius <br /> of trailers. Mash pee/Wake by's parking lot has not experienced congestion issues,and it was suggested <br /> that this configuration might be used as a potential template. <br /> Rick York, looking forward, made mention that the provisions for power and water utilities should be <br /> included in the proposal and have a conduits installed, before paving commences. <br /> Ken Bates reported on the Great River Ramp Project. He stated that all the paving and paint lines for <br /> parking were completed. No problem with any congestion was reported. Rick York stated that a loose <br /> pipe float fixture was protruding from the dock section and that it had damaged a boat. This situation <br /> was corrected. <br /> Ken stated that the previous engineering problem he and rick York had identified with the ramp/floats is <br /> being addressed by DPW. Ken also added that on the Winter Popponesset Approach Channel Dredge <br /> project,the certification report was sent in to the Army Corp of Engineers on June 71h. <br />
