7 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> January 28, 2002 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Marcia King/Mary LeClair—Assembly of Delegates Project Update: <br /> Marcia King and Mary LeClair discussed upcoming projects beneficial to <br /> the Town of Mashpee. Intended programs and related studies include; <br /> the Affordable Housing Program Reserve, Regional Wastewater Studies, <br /> Coastal Embayment Studies, Bathing Beach Sanitary Surveys, LCP <br /> Implementation Grants and Municipal Energy Audits. <br /> COMMUNICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE: <br /> Request to Waive Building Fees: <br /> Correspondence was received from Russell Wheeler, Building Inspector <br /> dated January 10, 2002 requesting the Board waive all building permit <br /> fees associated to the addition with handicap accessibility of Grace <br /> Probert, Matchewutta Road, Mashpee due to unforeseen illness. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to waive all building fees <br /> associated to 14 Matchewutta Road,Mashpee(addition with handicap <br /> accessibility) as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Resignation—Finance Committee: <br /> The Board was advised by Jeffrey Arnold, Finance Committee Chairman <br /> of the resignation of Deirdre Greelish. Mr. Arnold has recommended the <br /> Selectmen defer appointment until the May election. <br /> For disclosure, the Selectmen were in receipt of the e-mail from Mrs. <br /> Greelish dated January 8, 2002 relative to the intended resignation. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to accept with regret, the <br /> resignation of Deirdre Greelish from the Finance Committee. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> • <br />
