i <br /> • I <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> April 29, 2002 <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Irrir_ tires : rptmu <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to set the age limit for obtaining <br /> a herring license to 1 fifteen years ofage. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Tnanimous. 5-0. <br /> COMMUNICATIONS ANIS CORRESPONDENCE: <br /> Town of Barnstable: <br /> Correspondence was received from the Town of Barnstable dated April <br /> 18, 2002 with respect to obtaining the Selectmen's support to perfect the <br /> Commonwealth's claim upon the waters ofNantucket Sound and <br /> jurisdictional boundaries of the Cape and Island Ocean Sanctuary. <br /> Motion made by Selectman reveille to approve and authorize the <br /> Chairman of the Board of Selectmen to execute the resolve, an Act to <br /> compel the preservation of Cape and Islands ocean Sanctuary. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> APPoIN TNENT S. AND HEARINGS: <br /> Willovlend— rant's Cove Road: <br /> Selectman 1 larsters stepped down for the above referenced discussion. <br /> Bruce Besse, Willobend Development Corporation was present to <br /> request the Selectmen clarify their vote of February 25, 2002 relative to <br /> the relocation of ryant's Cove Road and Simon's Road in support o <br /> illobend's request to relocate the two ancient ways. <br /> The Selectmen were requested to formally abandon the current location of <br /> Bryant's Cove Road in the areas reflected in the plan of 2/21/02, as <br /> revised on 3/29/02. A forty-foot section of Simon's Way needs to be <br /> formally abandoned. In addition, the relocation of a small area on Simons <br /> Road, approximately 20 Feet, is being located to aconnodate possible <br /> relocation of the rest nation. <br />
