• MINUTES March 28,, 1991 3 BOARD OF HEALTH Mr. Evans stated, upon inspection the system was in ob- vious failure. Mr. Marinelli questioned the Board as to whether he could incorporate his shower with the existing toilet. Mr. Costa informed Mr. Marinelli remodeling is permit- ted, however square footage of habitable space cannot be in- creased. 11 . ) Draft copy of _ ATM &.,.STM warrants - Acknowledged 2, Update on Augat's and Shell Station - Mr. McQuaid in- formed the Board Mr. Evans accompanied the Deputy Fire Chief to the existing leach pit site at Augats for the purpose o soil vapor testing. Readings were very high, two soil samples were taken for analysis, I informed workers at the site to continue installation of the new system, as further testing would not likely affect the location of the new sys- tem. Workers were also informed to render the area safe as far as blocking off open pits or if necessary, backfill the holes. , Shell station - Mr. McQuaid informed the Board the owner has requested permission to install a new well . Upon further in- vestigation it was revealed the existing well was found to contain traces of v.o. fs. As a result of the analysis we requested, from the company engaged by the Shell Co, to per- form quarterly testing, copies of all v-. ,c, testing over the last twelve months, We also requested copies of their latest tight tank testing. Three tanks were installed one test analysis was received which was a re-test of one that failed,, We have requested copies of all. .o.c. test results from the five monitoring well sites.
