MINUTES UT S un , 1991 3 BOARD OF HEALTH Mr, Doherty informed Pyr. Borselli plans as presented are inadequate as they do not delineate the most feasible loca- tion for the leaching facility. Mro Doherty recommended in- stalling test wells, in various site locations, to. determin water potability Mr. Borselli stated, ire his opinion, it is not possible to place the system towards the northern end of the property s placement of the well would be in close proximity to the River which is mostly brackish water. Mr, McQuaid stated on the upper test hole groundwater was encountered at 10 feet 6 inches. Mr. Borselli explained that 'if a test hole were dug in the area of the existing cesspools it would be likely high nitrate counts would be found. Mr. Greelish recommended digging test holes at a greater depth. Ms, Guest commented the owners are proposing to reside t the dwelling year round therefore, a septic upgrade is im- perative. - perative.
