Or- <br /> MINUTES August 81 1991 2 BOARD of HEALTH <br /> * I esponse rom D. .P. to .G.H. re: Thermal treatme <br /> Mr , Costa expressed his concern over the possibility of Otis <br /> N. , . transporting contaminated soils from other N.G.D. fs. <br /> Mr. Greelish commented that the unit mentioned in this <br /> letter was not referenced in the report. <br /> APPOINTMENT: Jack Landers-Cauley - Lot 1, Hamblin Road <br /> Mr. Cauley was in attendance for this scheduledappoint- <br /> ment.. <br /> Mr. Cauley presented plans to the Board and explained <br /> the Spohr's own three parcels of land. "Placement of a <br /> leaching facility on Lot 1 is not possible as the required <br /> distances cannot be maintained from well to septic and the <br /> wetlands area," "The owner is requesting to install the <br /> leaching facility on lot Io and relocate the abutting prop- <br /> erty owners well to lot 93 thereby meeting state and local <br /> requirements.' <br /> Mr. Greelish informed Mr. Cauley local regulations do <br /> not permit' a septic system to be placed on an abutting piece <br /> of property with or without an easement, <br /> Mr. Cawley stated, in his opinion, the spohr's would be <br /> amicable to conveying a parcel of land to the abutting prop- <br /> erty owners for relocation of their well . <br /> Mr. Costa commented, the lot is very marginal even with <br /> the granting n easement for the well. <br /> Mr, Cauley stated ialT*owners abutting Hamblin lin Road own - s <br /> to the center of the road'.
