McQuaid and veronica <br /> A. Warden <br /> THE TAPE IS NOT PART OF THE MEETING; IT IS FOR THE PURPOSE F <br /> TRANSCRIPTION NL '. <br /> Mr. Steven R. Ball, Chairman <br /> 1. Sign warrants. Warrants signed. <br /> 2. Approve Minutes of Febru Z4 2000 meeting and Executive Session minutes <br /> of March 2, Zoo. Minutes could not be approved due to the lack of a full <br /> board. <br /> Transfer Station Contract Coastal. Waste Management <br /> Mr. Ball stated, `The bottom line is that we have a document from Kopelr an & Paige <br /> and they are recommending, because the Selectmen executed the original contract, <br /> that the Selectmen execute a change order. We will ship it up to the Selectmen and let <br /> there decide." <br /> Mr. Gramm stated that he agrees that it should go back to the original awarding Board <br /> with regard to any changes. <br /> Selectman Leveille stated that he has been encouraging the Board of Health to Ileal <br /> with the transfer station contract issue if they can, but that Town Counsel feels <br /> differently so the Selectmen will deal with it. <br /> Mr. Ball added that he has heard directly from Town Counsel who has told him that <br /> he must step down on any future Coastal Waste Management issues clue to a personal <br /> relationship with the operator of the transfer station. <br /> Mr. McQuaid questioned who would represent the Board of Health in dealing with this <br /> issue with the Selectmen. Discussion tools place with regard to this matter. Mr. Cram <br /> offered to be the liaison between the Board of Health and the Board of Selectmen in <br /> dealing with the transfer station contract issue. Mr. Ball stated that he would like to <br /> have the Selectmen request the assistance of someone from the Board of Health. <br /> 3. 1999 Annual Solid Waste Report <br /> Board acknowledged. <br /> 4. Letter to Cape Cod Commission re: Talanian Development <br /> Board acknowledged. <br />
