Doherty <br /> THE TAPE IS IT FART OF TBE MEETING IT IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br /> TRANSCRIPTION ONLY. <br /> Mr. Steven R. Ball,,Acting Chairman <br /> 1. 'warrants signed. <br /> 2. M[r. Ball postponed approving the minutes until all members are present. <br /> t. <br /> i <br /> PP INTI TENT- 1 l shpee River Dredging Spoils <br /> Mr. Jim Hanks, Mr. ferry Ellis and Mr. Rick York were in attendance for this <br /> scheduled appointment. <br /> 1r. Hanks relayed,,"We would like to dispose of the dredging material at the <br /> landfill." <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated, "When they dredged the mouth of the Mashpee River <br /> several years ago we did take it to the landfill however, the sediments have to be tested to <br /> make sure there are no heavy metals in it." "If that's the case they de-water it properly to <br /> the point where 1t can mix with either our compost or our fill material at the landfill so it <br /> doesn't create a river of spoils." <br /> Mr. Ball questioned, "NMere ere ill the material go." <br /> Mr. McQuaid responded, "on top." <br /> Mr. Ball questioned, "Isn't the material from the lagoons going up there?" <br /> Mr. McQuaid responded, "ale need to create more of a mound to create the slope <br /> so any fill material that is iron-toxic is acceptable." <br />
