a NflNUTES May 8, 1997 2 BOARD OF HEALTH Mr. Ball commented, "This is a known contaminant," "I would recommend we meet with Ms. Davis on the 22nd as she requested and continue with the fine as agreed at last week's meeting." Mr. Cram relayed, "This is income producing property." "l don't understand why this is a problem." Mr. Ball stated, "If we declare the house inhabitable,le, then we will have to find a place for the tenants to stay." Mr. Cram commented, "We did present to Ms. Doris that if there 'is a hardship to come Before the Board at the next meeting." I Ir. Ball comm nted, "She could have done that but she didn't." "I recommend we continue with the fine and meet with Ms. Davis the 22nd." Mr. Cram stated, "Has there been any communication from the tenants living at this property?" "At this point the Board is deadlocked,on the matter." "The fines will still continue until we meet next eel " Mr. Ball agreed. fir. Cram directed the agent to forward a later to Ms. Davis informing her fines still continue, the Board will address this matter at their next regularly scheduled meeting date and strongly recommend her attendance. 4.) Defter from A. Wolk re: e Disease - Mr. Cram questioned Mr. Evans, "Has there been an evaluation of the tick problem in the vicinity of Ms. Wolk's property?" Mr. Evans responded, "We have not had problems with Lyme Disease." `The Health professional's do notify us." Mr. Ball conunented, "Mice are in the tall grass and they do cam the deer ticks." "I would lire to get the child's name, doctor's report and whether the child contracted the disease on the Cape." "In order for us to move on this we need more information."
