Cram, Sr. <br /> THE NAPE IS NOT PART OF TBE MIEETING IT IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br /> TRANSCRIPT10N ONLY. <br /> Mr. Steven R. Ball, Chairman <br /> 1. Warrants signed. <br /> 2. Ir. Cram motioned to accept the minutes of August 21, 1997, fir. Doherty <br /> seconded, all agreed. <br /> . Letter from Arlene Wolk - Mr. Ball conunented, "I recommend Mr. McQuaid <br /> follow-up on Mr. Evans call to Ms. Wolk and inform her she should consider an <br /> integrated pest control management program." <br /> Board nems agreed. <br /> APPOINTMENT - Arra Djala- 28 Sand Dollar Lane <br /> Mr. Arne Ojala, P.E. was in attendance for this scheduled appointment. <br /> Mr. 0ja1a stated, `This is an existing house on Sand Dollar Large." "We are <br /> proposing a septic upgrade," `There is a bordering vegetated wetland in the coastal bank <br /> marsh area to the north." "There is an existing failed cesspool system approximately 100' <br /> from thewetland." "What we propose to d 'is replace the cesspools with a 1500 gallon <br /> septic tank, a 1 000 pump chamber and then locate the septic system to the rear of the <br /> dwelling as far as we can get it from the wetland area." "It is a leach field configuration <br /> which we made as large as we could and in doing that we were able to accommodate the <br /> 463 gallons per day flow." "We are ' feet from the property lines and 10' from the <br /> foundation." "We are well above the groundwater elevations." <br /> A&. Evans commented, "I would recommend Mr. 0j ala delineate a reserved area <br /> n the plan." <br />
