NiMT'ES September 4, 1997 2 BOARD OF ALTRI <br /> Mr. Cram motioned to grant two ' sideline variances and a 10' variance from the <br /> foundation, Mr. Doherty seconded, all agreed. <br /> Mr. Ojala stated, "I will revise plans to indicate a reserve area." <br /> 4. Memo from P. Difizio re: By-law - Mr. Ball stated, "The letter states the <br /> Watershed Management Committees vote is split regarding the draft de-nitrifyingby-law <br /> that is currently under consideration." <br /> 1r. Doherty connented, "This Board has talked in favor of the regulation for <br /> some time now." "Once we clarify some of the issues I intend to go forward with it." <br /> Mr. Ball commented, "Tae Committee is meeting again on September 26, 1997." <br /> "I would like to have a draft regulation ready for their review." <br /> Mr. Cram stated, "hi my opinion, I would like to see more definitive information <br /> because I would like to incorporate residential hones into the regulation.' <br /> . Discussion took place as to whether it would be prudent at this time to incorporate <br /> residential leaching facilities into a denitrifying regulation. <br /> Mr. Doherty relayed, "I would life to further review the proposed regulation for <br /> comment at next week's meeting." <br /> Board members agreed. <br /> . Memo from D. Rich re: Moratorium - Mr. McQuaid stated, `Due to the <br /> moratorium I would recommend the Board require each applicant to sign an affidavit <br /> absolving the town of any responsibility should they have no source of potablewater." <br /> Board members agreed. <br /> 6.) Letter from KATY re: Request for funds - Board members agreed to forward the' <br /> request to the Human Services Committee for their comments. <br /> 7. Memo from C. Stun re: Soccer Fields - Acknowledged. <br /> . Memo from Town Clerk re; October 2, 1997 meeting - Board members agreed to <br /> cancel the meeting on that date clue to Rosh Hashanah. <br />
