Cram, Sr. <br /> TIE TAPE IS NOT PART OF TIHE MEETING 1T IS FOR TBE PURPOSE OF <br /> TRANSCRIPTION ONLY. <br /> Mr. Steven R. Ball, Chairman <br /> 1. warrants signed. <br /> 2, The minutes of September 4, 1997 will be continued until next week's meeting <br /> when Mr. Doherty is in attendance. <br /> 3. Copy of letter to 1 Il R re: Notification Pr t e 1 - Mr. McQuaid stated, "This <br /> was a result ofthe new release that went to the media before the Board of Health was <br /> informed ofthe discovery of E.D.E. in the actual cranberry berries in the M sh ee bog." <br /> "This is a letter from our Executive Secretary to Brigadier General Lawrence F. Sheehan <br /> that shows our dissatisfaction with their failure to follow protocol." "We have yet to <br /> receive any factual reports on the levels of contamination in the bogs." "In any opinion, <br /> all our efforts and concerns should be addressed through the Board of Selectmen at this <br /> point." "It is a Board of Health issue however, it needs to go one step beyond." "There i <br /> meeting next Monday at 3:0 0 p.m. to further-discuss this." <br /> Mr. Ball stated, "I agree with Mr. McQuaid that this matter should be handled <br /> through the Board of Selectmen due to possible litigation." <br /> Mr. McQuaid commented, "I spoke with Suzanne Condon from D.P.H. and she <br /> assured me I would have an up to the minute update prior to this meeting on Monday <br /> indicating what the D.P. I. is going to rewire the military to do as far as risk assessment, <br /> fish sediment and shellfish." <br /> Acknowledged. <br /> . Copy of water,supply affidavit Board members approved the affidavit as <br /> prepared by Mr. McQuaid. <br />
