MINUTES February 8, 1996 4 BOARD of BEALTH <br /> 1r. Doherty stated, "'the special permit issued by the Board of Appeals prohibits <br /> he refueling of buses on the premises." "Any modification to the special permit requires a <br /> public hearing.9� <br /> Ms. Sylvester commented, "We are in the process of applying to the Board of <br /> Appeals." <br /> Mr. Doherty relayed, "Perhaps it would be best for the Board to continue the <br /> matter and attend the Board of Appeals meeting to hear public comments." <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated, "Our noel course here would be to present our comments <br /> in writing to the Board of Appeals prior to their meeting. "Our recorn iendations are <br /> usually incorporated into their decision." <br /> Mr. all relayed, they could guarantee here were some sort of environmental <br /> safeguard in lace I would vote favorably for this request." `Are there any booms around <br /> � p <br /> the drains?" <br /> i <br /> Ms. Sylvester responded, "There are two pillows around the drains." ` hey are <br /> serviced once a year." <br /> Mr. Matthews stated, "It is my understanding the truck isn't moved at all, the hose <br /> is 150' long so once the truck is parked it does not have to be mo ed.'s <br /> MT. fall stated, "So this designated area could be upgraded for protection o <br /> spillage.77 <br /> Mr.. 'Iis would be <br /> creating a potential health and environmental risk where it isn't warranted for any other <br /> reason then an economic advantage."" "I would not vote favorably to the request for the <br /> Board's reconsideration. <br /> l lr, Matthews stated, "if my comment about my tlucks changes the Board's <br /> position then I would absolutely not fuel Amy trucks.17 <br /> Mr. Cram stated "At thisp oint I don't believe it's been shown to us at this point <br /> it's an economic or financial hardship." "It's more a question of convenience..5, <br /> Mr. Ball stated "The buses will be of `the road and out of the gas stations." <br />
