MINUTES June 13, 1996 4 BOARD of HEALTH <br /> Mr. Doherty stated, `There are some other industrial areas along Bowdoin Road <br /> that could have contributed to the contamination."' `'There was a dump site to the west of <br /> the area that could have contributed.'# "Those were. taken into consideration but the <br /> information we have received to date appears to be ruling that out." <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to accept Culligan water and Filtration Systems bid as the <br /> company who will provide bottled water and filtration systems to 33 homes in the <br /> Sampson's Mill Road, Cranberry Ridge Road and Cape give areas, Mr. Ball seconded, <br /> all agreed. <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated, "'Representatives from Culligan water and Filtration Systems <br /> are present this evening to inform residents of when they plan to begin lelive g water <br /> and installing filtration systems." <br /> Mr. Cram stated, "The Board has received a petition that was submitted by <br /> fo rteen residents in the Sampson"s MR Road area." "we have forwarded it to the <br /> Selectmen for their reply."' <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to petition the Selectmen to waive all fees associated with <br /> the installation of f*filtration systems in the homes affected by the Augat groundwater <br /> contamination, Mr. Ball seconded, all agreed. <br /> . V.O.C. fundiniz request..from Barnstable Court - Board members agreed to the <br /> request. <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated, I will forward a memo to Stetson m orm ng him to proceed <br /> with setting up a special account to bill us through." <br /> 3. D.P.H. report on Nfiddle School air qualit - Board members to review for <br /> comment at a later date. <br /> .) Determination of living s ace Monomoscoy Road west - Mr. McQuaid <br /> stated, "This is a one room cottage with ars enclosed porch."' "The owner is requesting to <br /> fully enclose the porch with heat, etc."' "Currently, there is a ' wall with storm <br /> window/screen combinations."" "It will remain a one bedroom cottage." <br /> Mr. Doherty recommended the owner have a septic inspection performed to <br /> determine what the currently leaching facility consists of: <br />
