r
CHAIRMAN: I ' ll tell you this ,,. If there is any material
difference ,,n that Agre me t, it is going to . be
brought to our attention very quickly by' no
other than the South Cape Beach Advisory Conunittee
and Counsel because they supported the motion and
the project. If there is any problem with it, they
are going to bring it to o r. attention I 'm sure,
VOTER: I thank -that the Selectmen appointed a very strong
-- South Cape Beach Advisory Committee and that they
should work with them in the period coring up.
I think th' t the Selectmen should go alo g with the
Advisory- Committee as t ' what it approves of or
doesn' t approve of : in conjunction with the Selectmen
and the Town Counsel. I think that if the south
Cape Beach Advisory Committee, which I think have
done a. .pretty good job, I think the selectmen should
go al-ong with their. thinking.
' A-I'RMA : Have you heard anything tonight that you can
=sped fically relate to that.
VOTER: Right. I would like to have 'selectmen - say that we
have confidence in the South Cape Beach Advisory
orrimittee and I'm sure what they do or'- say will
more than likely be agreeable to us .
.The Advisory Committee will do a good job in getting
our- fair share.
- HAI'RMAN: I have no problem with that. The decision lies here
-and i t will not be made by anyone ,else. it Will
be made by this Board for better or for worse.
VOTER: I want to commend this Board of Selectmen. I' m going
to say just one thing. You brought it to the
people. They said what they wanted to say. There
is no more that you can do.. 'Dere is a law that you
have to go by. It takes time and you have to wait.
I i m Sure that Mr. - Kendall didn' t come down here with
a statement that was out in 'loft field.
VOTER: You say that the final Grote rest in your laps . Say
than the Advisory Committee cores back and says that
everything is -fine but you are not satisfied with
that. what step would you take then
: You could go against i .
CHAIRMAN: Yes we could. what I am saying to you and please
listen, if the south Cape Beach Advisory Committee
and Cousenl say it' s fine . It' s exactly in the
form that we had hammered out and it has every
F provision and we are home free. Whdt we are saying
and I think it' s unanimously, is that if it is in
that form, we have no problem. If it isn' t in that
form, then we have to find out where it has changed,
how has it changed and what significance is the
change.
-l l-
