eve Secretary informed Board that the Ad Hoc committee that <br /> e Board appointed to provide the necessary figures for budgetory <br /> will meet on Monday afternoon, <br /> purposes as a result of Proposition 2 �, <br /> December , <br /> th and essentially put together` . recap sheet. The intent <br /> ` a final figures available for. the selectmen and the Finance <br /> is t g <br /> Committee the followi n wee} and- after that, they plan to meet with <br /> department heads and employees of the Town in an open public meeting* <br /> He willg et Board' s approval before scheduling meeting. <br /> i <br /> 78 <br /> Chairman informed Board that a report relative to the Town' s <br /> Insurance study should be received in January. <br /> . Executive Secretary informed Board that a follow <br /> -u letter' has <br /> been sent to -Blue Cross/Blue Shield relative to the information <br /> e reque-sted. <br /> 9. Chairman stated ated that a copy of the letter from Town Counsel regarding <br /> funds to be aid back should be seat to the are Disaster Recovery ery Team. <br /> They going to have to wait until a special Town Meeting before <br /> payment can be made.. <br /> 1Chairman re <br /> recommended that letters be sent to different organizations , <br /> i.e. ,, Child Development Program, stating that the Board i.s <br /> recommending level. funding and no new programs will be accepted* <br /> Board members concurred. <br /> ll. . Mr. Hollander met with the Board in regards to the bridge roar his <br /> His concern. i s the weight o f loads . that are going over the <br /> home. � • <br /> ' He felt that since the Town excepted the responsibility of <br /> bridge. ' <br /> he b id e- it should be legally posted so.. that the Police can <br /> t g the bride and also, the safety <br /> enforce the loads that are going over <br /> factor that is involved. <br /> ' requested that the record show that the Town has not assumed <br /> Chairman r'e � . <br /> the responsibility onsibilit of the -bridge , legally or otherwise. He reminded <br /> Mr. <br /> Hollander that he has copies of correspondence from the engineer <br /> and <br /> Town Counsel relative to the work that was done . He informed <br /> Mr. Hollander that the only way to resolve this is for 10 or more <br /> people le to submit an article in the Torn Meeting scheduled for May <br /> and d then the- Town can Grote as to whether or not they want to take <br /> the g <br /> he bridge.. Bn i eering work should be done ahead of time , because <br /> you have to have a layout. <br /> Mr, Hollander stated that the Town posted a 6 ton limit sign. <br /> Chairman stated that he did not know that, and he didn' t post any <br /> ton limit sign. <br /> Selectman <br /> Thomas stated that the Board instructed the Building <br /> Inspector to post this limit prior to repairs to the bridge. <br /> Chairman responded that may be .we did and may be we didn' t. <br /> Mr, Hollander stated that one sign is posted there right now and <br /> that the Chairman authorized those trucks to go over the bridge. <br /> Chairman responded that he did not. What he said to Mr. Gilmore <br /> was to take a reasonable approach life the cement trucks do and <br /> � - <br />
