Chief Frye said he has <br /> tried to get some dummy units. sel. Thomas felt the Radar Warning <br /> signs might help, but to get them takes- time and money. She asked <br /> the Chief if has the money. She would like to know where they are <br /> going. Chief Frye reported that he has the money for a few. chr . <br /> Garland asked if there was any L.E. .A. money around? Chief Frye will <br /> cheek on that. One spot he was thinking of was forth Landing Road, <br /> also Great Oak Rd and Mashpee beck, Chm. Garland suggested he might <br /> consider across from the Wigwam on Central Road. He also said that <br /> a request might he made of the Peninsular Council right he willing to <br /> help pay for some signs out theme. He ventured that the Corporation <br /> might even he willing to help financially, because whatever increases <br /> the safety out there, makes their community more marketable. Perhaps <br /> some of 'the associations right be willing to help, also. Sod.. Thomas <br /> agreed, saying that article in the paper- about Iash ee's growth has <br /> really made people start to think about their town, <br /> Chief Frye said he has received the overtime pay from the' D. . 's <br /> Office, for everyone but the -Harbormaster. He hasn ' t submitted that <br /> bill yet, <br /> 7 ) Chm. Garland asked the Chief if he has been having any problems with <br /> his radios? The Chief replied that he has had with some, one is being <br /> replaced, ' Chm. Garland suggested that perhaps he should have -a five <br /> year replacement program; if the radio's life span is approximately <br /> five years.
