Request for verbal <br /> approval. <br /> 2) Tom' s Place. Mr. Lashley and Mr. May have requested temporary sus- <br /> pension of their licenses to allow for sale of the property. I <br /> recommend that the Board suspend for 30 days. In any event, Tom' s <br /> Place should be item for action at tomorrow' s meeting. <br /> 3) on Friday afternoon, I 'm scheduled to meet with Lt. Col McNamara and <br /> Mr. Jacobson regarding Mrs . Harding' s concerns over accessability to <br /> her property from Back Road. <br /> 4 ) Revenue Sharing Hearing: if the Board has no objections , I would <br /> like [to. schedule the Revenue Sharing Hearing for Wednesday, Octo- <br /> ber 7 , at 2: 30 p.m. in the Cafeteria. <br /> 5 ) If the Board has no objection, I would like to schedule a Public <br /> Auction for disposal of excess public property for Friday, November <br /> 6 , at 3 :00 p.m. Included will be everything from typewriters to <br /> ex-cruisers to bicycles. <br /> • 6 ) Tentative agreement was reached last night between the Firefighters <br /> and the Personnel Board. I would expect that we would see written <br /> copies of the documents in the next few days: Included in the two- <br /> year contract are: <br /> A) A 7% increasethis year, plus a $200 bonus for <br /> everyone (actually it is added E.M.T. pay) . <br /> B) In the second year, there is a re-opener on the <br /> contract for four economic items: <br /> a) Wages <br /> b) Longevity <br /> c) Clothing allowance <br /> d) Force reduction. <br /> c) Four "union days" off in which any member can take <br /> a day off for union activities. (This is a maximum <br /> of four days per yearfor all members of the union, <br /> not four days per person. ) <br /> • <br />
