Kevin D. O' Connell, <br /> , <br /> Executive S retary Joseph F. Murphy, Jr. Chairman Chester A. <br /> Garland was absent because he was' attending a, meefing of the <br /> Counter Finance Board. <br /> Vice Chairman Thomas convened the, meeting at 2 : 05 +r . She moved that <br /> the mutes of January, 2 , 1982 , b e' amended to show that the Chairman <br /> had been attending a Meeting of the County Finance Board on that 'date , . <br /> also. A vote . <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> 1) Mr, Plus by, Executive Secretary, reported that he had <br /> seat the Police Chief ' s proposed Bir-Law on street light- <br /> ing to the Town Counsel f r . re view. He also included the <br /> question that has been raised about a private street light <br /> being installed should there he a Public Hearing before <br /> it is allowed? This was a question raised by Chm. Garland. <br /> Sel. O' Connell said he knew of no such requirement. <br /> 1 Mr. Murnhy reviewed the, Town' s request for a volunteer <br /> groun to undertake a street light survey, but this attempt <br /> - had been unsuccessful.. <br /> el. O' Connell said he doesn't feel it has to be a by-law. <br /> Plur by siggested it could .be adopted by this Board as <br /> as an administrative policy, using the guidelines prepared <br /> by the Police -Chie-f as criteria. <br /> - <br /> At this point, Mr, Woodbury who was in the audience , stater <br /> that as of two weeks ago , Mr. Jacobson had no- list of the <br /> streets in Town. <br /> Mr. Murphy reported that Jane Labut and Jake have been <br /> working on this for several. months. <br /> Sel. O'Connell said there is such a list, he is sure' of that. <br /> He believes they are now just con.fi r in q if all the streets <br /> listed have been properly accepted. <br /> Sel . Thomas suggested that the Police Chief' ' recom endation <br /> be adopted as ars administrative policy. All agreed. <br /> NEW 8USINESS <br /> 1 The Conservation Commission has received another _parcel of lard <br /> donated- by mr. DeYoung. It is necessary for this Board to vote <br /> to accent the two lots (see memo o attached.) . ,Sel O' Connell roved <br /> that the property be accented, with gratitude. . A vote . <br /> 2 Regarding arding dew Seabury' s request to extend their closing D_ eriod <br /> for another month, Sel. O' Connell moved approval.+ - -vote. <br />
