Danson, Executive Secretary Joseph F. Murphy. <br /> GUESTS: Mr. Curtis Woodbury, Mr. Robert Sanders , Ms . Denise Stinchart Watson, <br /> Ms.. Delcie A. vanDeuen, Ms . Susan Kurtogler, Mr. & Mrs. Richard <br /> Morehouse, Mr. Mrs , -Edward Dolan, Ms . Jane Peterson,,- Chief Grey <br /> Wolf Moran, Ms . .Ellen Hendricks and Mr, Robert Kogtit. <br /> 2 : 00 p.m. - Chairwoman B, Jean Thomas convened the meeting. . <br /> el. Manson moved that the minutes of the March 30, 1983 and March 31, <br /> 1983 meetings be- approved with a chance rade on pace 2 , paragraph 2, to state <br /> el. Garland instead of Sel . Hanson., Sel, Garland seconded this motion with <br /> correction. This is a vote. <br /> 2 : 00 p.m. - hairwo nan Thomas opened the public hearing on the dock complaint <br /> submitted by Mr, Robert- Watson, The dog is owned by Mrs . Janet <br /> Korpela who lives at 16 Deerfield Road, Mashpee,,- Ma. -No one <br /> was present or appeared on behalf of .the dock. - Complaint was <br /> given because the dog is not restrained and is a nuisance in the <br /> neighborhood and he is a safety problem as he growls at the <br /> children and will not allow Mr. & Mrs . Dolan's children off <br /> the bus . People have to stop their ears because he chases them, <br /> Mr. Robert Sanders , Natural Resource officer stated that he has <br /> received various complaints about this dog and has given Mrs . <br /> Kocut s son, as Mrs , Koc.ut never comes to- the door, warnings <br /> about their dog- on these matters . He also stated that the animal <br /> is very difficult- to catch and he has no authority to go on their <br /> property to catch I . The dock has not been licensed- since 1981. <br /> Ms. Denise Stinchart Watson, Ms . Delcie vanDeusen, Ms . Susan <br /> Kur'to gler, Mr, & Mrs . Richard Morehouse and Mt, & Mrs, Edward <br /> Dolan all spoke against the dock. el . Garland- moved that the <br /> Board direct Mrs . to banish the dog from the T w of Mashpee <br /> " from this day for el. Hanson feels that Mrs . should <br /> be given a formal warning to restrain the dog or that the dock <br /> should be picked up because it isn' t licensed. Chairwoman <br /> Thomas stated that she is concerned'. about the notice that was <br /> seat to Mrs . as the notice was hand carried by a policeman, <br /> but was given t he daughter who is a minor. For this reason <br /> el. Garland withdrew his motion and the Board will continue the <br /> hear` n n xt Wednesday, April -1 , 19 at :1 p.m, at which time <br /> Mrs , will have received an official notice of the hearing <br /> whic 1 be given to- her personally. Mr. Robert Sanders said <br /> that they have no telephone. <br /> 2 :15 p.m. Mr. Robert Kohut came to discuss with the Board what the problem <br /> was with the license for The New Farm. Crim. Thomas explained that <br /> the Board had done all it could to be lenient and now the Board <br /> feels that the place should be open. She informed Mr. Kogut of <br /> the responsibility that does with a liquor license and that these <br /> obligations have- not been met. By statute no one is allowed to <br /> be closed longer than one month. This establishment has been <br /> closed since -January. sel. Hanson asked Mr. Kogut what attempts <br /> had been made to open. Se l. Garland said that he is disturbed <br /> because no assurances of what their time frame or schedule is . <br />
