Hanson to accept the minutes of July 20, 1983 egi...Iar meeting as written.' Seconded by Sel. Terry. Motion passeds t k GIDE BUSINESS: 1. Re: Design Review.-Committee— Chm. 'Garland- asked if any of. -tbe Board memb6rs had any name' to submit for appointment to the Committee. Sel. Hansom submitted; A.E.-Ferragamo,'- Architect , Steven ars- Tol and Wayne Tavares both are Landscape Architects. Sel.. Hansom also suggested that the Cormiiittee .be a four member as opposed to a three member. Chm. Garland stated -that a By—law of June 1983 would only allow a three member committee. , Chm. Garland roved to hold this ratter until Town Counsel could be consulted regarding the By--law. HEARINGS AND APPOINTMENTS : 1D p.m. Chem. Garland introduced Mr. Bruce Savage from, Commonwealth Electric Mr; Savage explained that the reason he was here was to see if the Board wanted to6continue with Phase II of the street light project , and if so would the Board prefer odi um- o'r Mercury lighting. Mr. Murphy pointed out that Phase I had been completed which meant that with Town -approval Cora Electric rcmoved 86 street lights and replaced 33 with high sodium lighting. Sel. -Hanson asked which of the two were the most popular lighting being used today. Motion carried. 6:30 p.m. - Rob Sanders, D -,._ f f_icer Mr.. under+s explained to the Board he would like to file an article t the September l tt, Special Town Meeting, on local dog- restraining. , Mr, Sanders does not -feel that the State law helps much 'with the day to day complaints. The restraining order would mean the clog would be restricted to the property by a leash or vocal -command by the owner or keeper.
