Re: Design Review.-Committee— Chm. 'Garland- asked if any of. -tbe Board <br /> memb6rs had any name' to submit for appointment to the Committee. <br /> Sel. Hansom submitted; A.E.-Ferragamo,'- Architect , Steven ars- Tol <br /> and Wayne Tavares both are Landscape Architects. Sel.. Hansom <br /> also suggested that the Cormiiittee .be a four member as opposed to a <br /> three member. Chm. Garland stated -that a By—law of June 1983 <br /> would only allow a three member committee. , <br /> Chm. Garland roved to hold this ratter until Town Counsel could <br /> be consulted regarding the By--law. <br /> HEARINGS AND APPOINTMENTS <br /> : 1D p.m. Chem. Garland introduced Mr. Bruce Savage from, Commonwealth Electric <br /> Mr; Savage explained that the reason he was here was to see if the <br /> Board wanted to6continue with Phase II of the street light project , <br /> and if so would the Board prefer odi um- o'r Mercury lighting. <br /> Mr. Murphy pointed out that Phase I had been completed which meant <br /> that with Town -approval Cora Electric rcmoved 86 street lights and <br /> replaced 33 with high sodium lighting. <br /> Sel. -Hanson asked which of the two were the most popular lighting <br /> being used today. Mr. Savage replied with sodium lighting due to, <br /> the light beau per wattage. <br /> .nth the survey dor Phase �� based on <br /> Bel. Hanson moved to proceed <br /> sodium light Ting, Sel. TE rry seconded. Motion carried. <br /> 6:30 p.m. - Rob Sanders, D -,._ f f_icer <br /> Mr.. under+s explained to the Board he would like to file an article <br /> t the September l tt, Special Town Meeting, on local dog- restraining. , <br /> Mr, Sanders does not -feel that the State law helps much 'with the <br /> day to day complaints. The restraining order would mean the clog <br /> would be restricted to the property by a leash or vocal -command by <br /> the owner or keeper. <br />
