Garland -explained that there was some confusion about the <br /> application but that Curtis Frye, the Chief of Police, had <br /> clarified the matter-. Sel. Terry asked if the disco meant that - <br /> they <br /> hat - <br /> th y were having a- live band. Mr. Barrows said no. Sel . Terry <br /> sled if they were going to sell alcohol outside.. Garland 'aslied the Boa rd how they would feel about issuing <br /> the license from 8: p'.m. until 12 : 30 p.m. <br /> Motion by Sel. Terry to approve the all alcoholic special license <br /> to , th6 wmpanog Rod and Gun Club for September . and 9 , Friday <br /> and Saturday-, from p.m. until 12.: 30 p.m. Seconded by Sel. <br /> Hanson. Motion Carried. <br /> 6: 45 p.m. Mr. George An oni and Mr. Raymond Garro came to dicuss with <br /> the Board an operational subsidy for the Cape view 'Transportation <br /> Bus, This would cost- the Tower approximately $1300 as their share. <br /> This information was given by Mr. Joshua Gottlieb, from the Regional <br /> Transit Authority. Mr. Garro explained that they operated last <br /> summer with a fixed route which the Regional Transit Authority <br /> allowed with the understanding that they would-.operate during <br /> the off season months , In January they asked ed for a . subsidy which <br /> cost the Town $850 as our share. Now they need an other subsidy. <br /> After more discussion on percentage of ridership the Board decided <br /> to tape this matter under advisement for one week in order to <br /> examine- this more closely. Board thanked them for coming. <br />
