Terry, Town Counsel Joseph J, Reardon and Executive <br /> Secretary Joseph F. Murphy. <br /> GUESTS: B.. Jean Thomas, Jane Peterson, Ernest Virgilio, Albert Hollander,, <br /> Karry Burroughs and Police Chief Curtis Frye. <br /> Chairman Garland convened the meeting at : op. . <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> 1. Chm. Garland mentioned the vacaincies on the following committees <br /> Library Building committee, Mashpee Community S-chool Executive <br /> Council., Housing Authority, Fire Protection & Emergency Medical. <br /> Service Master Planning, Con nittee and Assistant Harbormaster. He asked <br /> that some kind and gentle individuals volunteer to serve on these <br /> committees., <br /> . <br /> 2. ) The Board reviewed the proposed appointment to the Capital Program <br /> Committee. Motion by Sel, Hanson to appoint Mr. Howard. G. Christine <br /> to the Capital Program Committee terra to expire June 30 , 19848 <br /> Seconded by Sel. Terry, Motion Carried. <br /> APPOINTMENTS ANDHEARIN <br /> p.m. - Chm. Garland convened the public hearing on Ottavio-Emma Inc. ? <br /> d/b/a Carl ' s alcoholic license to see if. it should be revoked <br /> or suspended for failure to comply with Massachusetts Board of <br /> Fire Prevention. Chm. Garland read the legal ad relative to <br /> the hearing. Executive Secretary stated that the Fire Chief <br /> had informed him that the problem had been corrected. This <br /> took them five. months to comply. Chm. Garland suggested that <br /> a letter of reprimand be seat to thea -and a copy placed in <br /> their file. Motion by Sel, Terry that a letter of reprimand <br /> be sent to therm and a copy be placed in their files and that <br /> Town Counsel get reimbursed for the funds expended for the court <br /> action. Seconded by Sel. Hanson. Motion Carried. <br /> Board returned to old business; <br /> 3. Chin. Garland read the memorandum relative to Patrolman Gerald Umina. <br /> el. Hanson asked that this be deferred for the time being. <br /> 4. Board reviewed the bid summary on the one bid for three doors for town <br /> hall. Motion by Sel, Terry to reject the bid of Richard Horten for <br /> , 8 0. . ' seconded by Sel. Hanson. Motion Carried. <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS <br /> : 1. P...m. -- Ernest Virgilio, Superintendent of Streets came to the <br /> Selectmen' s meeting to inform them of the interesting items he <br /> found while demolishing the remains of the old fire station after <br /> the fixe. He also wanted then to know hover he feels about the <br /> history of this building and. -how he wishes to use the site as <br />
