Sel. -Hanson questioned whether- the contract would prevail. <br /> He also asked to see all the information pertaining to this natter. After <br /> much discussion the Board felt that they. should take tentative- action. <br /> Mrs. . Thomas asked if the. notion on the. appointment couldn' t be -made retro- <br /> active.e. Seconded by Sel. Terry. Notion Carried. <br /> Board 'Interviewed Mr. Garr Ellis for the position of Assistant Building <br /> Inspector. Board appointed Mr,. Douglas S. Board as Assistant Building <br /> Inspector. <br /> NEW BUSINESS : <br /> 1. Board reviewed the petition from Attorney- Kathleen Franklin relative <br /> to pushing a water pipe- under Monomoscoy Road. Board recommended that <br /> the article be submitted at the next town meeting. <br /> 2. ) Board took no action on the request from the DENS regarding the closing <br /> part of Great oak Road until they attend -the meeting of the south Cape <br /> Beach' State Park Advi-sort' Committee and discuss this matter. Meeting <br /> is scheduled for November 14 , 1983. <br /> Chin. G,arland asked if there was any other business to be brought up before <br /> the Board.
