Terry. lotion Carried. . on the memorandum from the Warks and recreation Director refering ,to who has jurisdiction and responsibilities of parks and recreational facilities the- Board decided to refer this matter to the Executive Secretary to handle . . Board reviewed the resignation o the Planning Board. secretary and Chm. Garland said thato, action was needed- on the Board' s part but a letter- should be- sent to Mrs , Sandra. Peters expressing their regrets. 7. on the request from the - Conservation Commission for an- article to recover and place in the conservation Trust Fund the amount o . $ , 7:1 . 0; the Board was not sure whether- an article was necessary as the town voted at the special Meeting of. May .1 982 to place the $25. ill" fig e- collected for public hearings under Chapter 131,' Section 40 , into the Mashpee Conservation Fund. This matter will be discussed- with 'the conservation Commission. . On the article presented by the conservation Commission- relative to the $18, 977 t he transferred into the Conservation Trust Fund the Board concurred but sel.. Hansom asked what that money or fund was for. Chm. Garland said it was so they could- buy more land. sl. Hanson -said he wants to look into thy.-s and this will also be discussed with the Conser- vation Commission. sel. Danson also said that he is very concerned about the logs, - and asked if anything. had been- done., since ' he had asked the' Executive secretary to' contact someone who knew what needed to lie- done to the hogs at this time of the year-. He knows. something should he dome and- he is concerned that we might loose our crop for next year, The Executive- secretary had referred this to the Conservation Commission but the Board has ut- teceived a reply as yet. The Board will discuss this with the Conservation corn-- mission after this meeting as- their meeting begins at 7 : 30 P,,m. Chm. Garland. announced the Fields Point Corporation- schedule of the Christmas festivities sponsored by the Mashpee Businessmen t s - ssociation and in line with this he said that the Board had received an. ,app-l.ication .from Campi i for -a. one day liquor permit. Board discussed whether permit was necessary and if the fee could he waived. Chairman Garland- to contact ABCC in the morning to find out the legality, of the -matter. Chin. Garland announced the open meeting of the County Finance Board on December-.8 , 1983 at 7: 30 p.m. Mr. - Paul J. woods arrived at 6 : 30 p.m. for his 6 : 15 p.m. appointment. Chm, Garland asked sel.
