Murphy. <br /> el, Manson said. that as the Chairman, ' it. Garland, is absent because he is <br /> illi r I will be the Acting. Chairman for this meeting. <br /> Acting Chm, Hanson convexed the December 7 , 1983 Selecmen' s meeting at p.m. <br /> GUESTS: Ms. Jane Peterson, Ms , Wendy Rubin, Mrs, Virginia Landry,, Mr. Leonard <br /> Niemi ,- Mrs. B. Jean Thomas , Mr. & Mrs. Dick Wasi l, <br /> Mr, Kenneth= Anders.on��-and- 1 , s . .Delsina Hendricks . <br /> Motion by Set+. Terry to approve the minutes of the November 30, 198 <br /> re ular meeting as written. Seconded by Acting Chm, Hanson. This is a vote. <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS : <br /> 6 : . .m. - On the meeting with the Att qu'in Task Force Committee, A .tin <br /> Chm. Hanson said- that the Boa'rd would. wait for a while as <br /> the Chairman of that Committee had not arrived yet. <br /> : 1.5 p.m* The - dog complaint hearing was continued to next weeps rneetin g <br /> at 6 :45 p.rte. as. Mr. Garland filed the complaint and he is <br /> absent. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> 1. On the reply from the Building Inspector relative to Dick & Ellie <br /> flea market, the Executive Secretary explained that there are no <br /> town by-laws that allow a flea market, He also stated that . petition <br /> will be submitted to the Selectmen for the special -town rfieeting warrant <br /> for zoning changes . Mr.. Murphy suggested that the Board deny the renewal <br /> of 'the license as this will come before tori meeting and should not inter- <br /> fere with their operations. Board decided to Mold this. until later. <br /> 2. ) On the Building Inspector v s answer to the Selectmen regarding Alam <br /> Industries the Board decided to have the Executive Secretary contact <br /> Town Counsel and have him keep going on this issue as Mr. Mendalson is <br /> still in violation of his judgement. Acting Chm. Hanson said that he <br /> is not e mp ly i ng and wants keep going on the issue .. Sel.Terry said <br /> that it is a shame that this cannot be resolved without costs to the <br /> town. However he is rFis-king contempt of court <br /> . n the memorandum from the Conservation Commission regarding the boas <br /> Mr, Murphy explained that the Board had requested an update on the bogs <br /> as far s- the maintenance was concerned from now until they are leased. <br /> Acting Chm, Hanson read from the memo the fol lowing; "be advised that <br /> the. present bog contractors who 'handle the Garner- Bog; namely, Donald <br /> Jermyn and Robert Hallett have been asked to dandle th e' 'boas. " Executive <br /> Secretary said that they will be paid $50 . 00 a month for this service <br /> and the Town Accountant-has been notified. Nor. Murphy explained that <br /> because of a couple of items' that needed to be clarified the time table <br /> was a little off. He expects to go to bid next week. <br />
