Selectman 'Thomas seconded. Motion carried. <br /> HEARINGS AND APPOINT NTS <br /> 7:00 - Chief Frye presented Corporal Juskiewicz.with a department citation <br /> for his conduct on- Augurs t 8th -durin .". f ire -at the Cotuit Bay <br /> Condominiums. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> 1, The Board voted in favor of the ambulance user fee concept. It was <br /> also asked that the Senior Center be asked for feed back. 1t was <br /> also suggested a heavy publicity campaign be used. <br /> HEARINGS AND APPOINTMENTS <br /> 7:15 - The Housing Authority were in to ask the Board's approval on a. <br /> parcel of property to be used for Elderly Housing, The said <br /> parcel is located on Route 28 across from the Getty Station and <br /> is identified as Map 81, Lots 21 and 31. The property is <br /> approximately 11 acres. The Authority explained that they had <br /> also looked ,at property located near orchard Road. However, <br /> their prefer the property on Route 28 due to the fact it fell <br /> under the Village Concept, <br /> Selectman Thomas asked if they had contacted Field's Point Corp. <br /> to see if they may have any property closer to the shopping area. <br /> The Authority felt that due to the tine frame involved the Route <br /> 28 property was the best. ' Also the State was impressed with the <br /> fact it was part of a village Plan. <br /> The Board gave the Authority the -go ahead provided the title <br /> exam on said property is clear. The Board also asked the <br /> Authority to check with Field's Point. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> .. r. Murphy reminded the Board about the public-Hearing on Monday <br /> night -in the cafeteria. regarding "Old M shpee�}. <br /> Selectman Thomas pointed out that no matter what is done with SEMASS <br /> plans should be made for a sub* onnittee here in Town with the Board of <br /> Health., <br />
