Homeyer.. <br /> Selectman Terry.moved to accept the minutes of the September 17 regular meeting. <br /> Selectman Thomas seconded. All were in favor. <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEADINGS <br /> 7:00 - A public hearing was scheduled- for the Channel Club d/b/a Club 55 to <br /> show cause Fahy the alb,-alcoholic beverage license should not be modified, <br /> suspended or revoked. <br /> Mr. Murphy pointed out that Mr. Billingham who was appointed bankruptcy trustee <br /> for the Channel Club had communicated that by virtue of the bankruptcy, the Town <br /> is stayed from taking any action. Mr. Murphy recommended the Board postpone <br /> this hearing indefinitely. <br /> Selectman Thomas moved to indefinitely postpone this hearing. Selectman Torry <br /> seconded. Motion carried. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> 1, The Conservation Commission requested the Boards assistance with asking the <br /> Building Inspector to respond to the Commissions letter dated September 24, 1984 <br /> regarding Cotuit Bay Condominiums. , <br /> Selectman Term asked that a formal request be seat asking the Building Inspector <br /> to respond to the Conservation Commissions request no later than. Friday,' october 5. <br /> . Mr. Murphy pointed out the Board was notified by Mr. Coates that the Mashpee <br /> River will continue to he closed for an additional thirty days. <br /> Selectman Hanson pointed out shellf fishing is still being dome in this area. <br /> Mr. Murphy stated the Shellfish Constable is aware and taking the necessary steps. <br /> . Selectman Manson asked if DEE had responded regarding the water at the <br /> Pine Station. <br /> Mr,-Murphy pointed out that no response has -been received as yet, he also <br /> explained that DEE is back logged about six weeks. <br /> No further old Business. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 1, Personnel Board submitted their recommendations with regards to a full.-tame <br /> and part-time dispatcher. <br /> The Board had taken action last week on the part-time position leaving the full- <br />
