Mr. Fagan of DEQE notified the Selectman that samples were taken from <br /> Taquoit Bay and the results indicate that the bacteria levels meet the sanitary <br /> requirements for shellfihing. Testing will continue. <br /> 3. The Beard of Health asked that Selectmen attend their meeting of October 1 <br /> at 6:45 p.m. to meet with a representative of Weston & Sampson to discuss their <br /> findings regarding their study of the Septage Lagoon. <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br /> 7:15 - Mr. Thibodeau a representative of New England Telephone was in regarding <br /> the petition of New England Telephone for two duets conduit on Route 180 at <br /> Birch Way. Engineer has met with lir, Virgilio and both parties are in agre - <br /> ment. <br /> Selectman Terry moved to approve petition X84-636 of New England Telephone. <br /> Selectman Thomas seconded. All were in favor. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 4. Mr. Murphy informed the Board that the Museum will close on October 29th <br /> until April. Mr. Re pointed out things are going slow right now <br /> due to the Mason's. <br /> Mr. Ferragamo being an architect pointed out to the Committee and Board that <br /> the architect should be the one to be in touch with the contractor's. The <br /> Town should not deal with the contractor's at all. <br /> At this point Mr. Virgilio presented the Board with a letter from Triple <br /> Engineering, He was very upset with the acusations stated in the letter. <br />
