Selectmen received a notification from the Barnstable County Commissioners <br /> regarding a public hearing to determine the prority needs of the county for <br /> FY1986 beginning ,duly 1, 1985. No action of the Board was required. <br /> . Selectmen received communication from the Town Accountant dealing with <br /> the 53rd payroll week as the town has budgeted for 52 weeks, <br /> Mr. Murphy recommends the Selectmen meet with the Finance Committee to discuss <br /> this matter. Mr. Murphy will check with the Finance Committee who 'is meeting <br /> next Wednesday, October 17. <br /> . Mr. Murphy submitted a proposed license fee schedule dealing with non- <br /> alcoholic beverages. <br /> Selectman Terror asked about. the transient vendors fee. <br /> Mr. Murphy pointed out that Chief Frye has -not yet submitted any input thus <br /> far regarding transient vendors. <br /> Selectman Terry asked that a request be made of Chief Frye regarding this matter. <br /> Selectman Thomas moved to adopt the fee shced.ule excluding the fee regarding <br /> transient vendors. Selectman Terry seconded. Selectmen moved to change the meeting of the Selectmen ori October. 1, 1984 <br /> to 3 p.m. due to the fact it is Halloween and they felt that people would rather <br /> not have to drive on this evening. <br /> 5. Mr. Stuart Bornstein requested permission to hang a mirror on town property <br /> across the street from his driveway. Mr. Virgilio recommends that the town not <br /> grant permission due to the liability to the town should an accident Occur as a <br /> result of the mirror. <br /> Selectman Terry suggests the town get an indemnity releasing the town from any <br /> liability. <br /> Town Counsel suggested Mr. Bornstein hire an engineer to show where on plans <br /> the di ection of. reflection. <br /> Selectmen abed that Mr. Murphy' notify Mr. Mornstein of the Boards feelings <br /> regarding this matter. <br />
