Murphy pointed out that he had spoken with DEQE who stated the test.--results were back and that he would forward them I'T mediately. . Selectman Hanson requested an update as to the status of William Ethier who was appointed back. in. ,dune as Sergeant pending psycol. gical. testing. NEW BUSINESS 1. Selectmen received a notification from the Barnstable County Commissioners regarding a public hearing to determine the prority needs of the county for FY1986 beginning ,duly 1, 1985. No action of the Board was required. . Selectmen received communication from the Town Accountant dealing with the 53rd payroll week as the town has budgeted for 52 weeks, Mr. Murphy recommends the Selectmen meet with the Finance Committee to discuss this matter. Mr. Murphy will check with the Finance Committee who 'is meeting next Wednesday, October 17. . Mr. Murphy submitted a proposed license fee schedule dealing with non- alcoholic beverages. Selectman Terror asked about. the transient vendors fee. Mr. Murphy pointed out that Chief Frye has -not yet submitted any input thus far regarding transient vendors. Selectman Terry asked that a request be made of Chief Frye regarding this matter. Selectman Thomas moved to adopt the fee shced.ule excluding the fee regarding transient vendors. Selectman Terry seconded. All were in favor. APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS 7:30 - 'This meeting was deferred until the Chairman of the Conservation Commission was present. NEW BUSINESS +. Selectmen moved to change the meeting of the Selectmen ori October. 1, 1984 to 3 p.m. due to the fact it is Halloween and they felt that people would rather not have to drive on this evening. 5. Mr. Stuart Bornstein requested permission to hang a mirror on town property across the street from his driveway. Mr. Virgilio recommends that the town not grant permission due to the liability to the town should an accident Occur as a result of the mirror. Selectman Terry suggests the town get an indemnity releasing the town from any liability. Town Counsel suggested Mr. Bornstein hire an engineer to show where on plans the di ection of. reflection. Selectmen abed that Mr. Murphy' notify Mr. Mornstein of the Boards feelings regarding this matter.
