All were in favor.
APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS
- Mr. James Allick of 675 Glen Eagle Drive applied for a limousine
service -license. Mr. Allick pointed out that it would be one oar
only for Corporation use. The company is located out of Plymouth
and the service would be used only for trips to and from Boston.
Mr. Allick went on to explain that he would have an answering
service out of his .home and mailing address would be Mashpee.
Selectmen felt that he should contact the town of Plymouth as
his plans indicate the business would really be out of that town.
They also feel they could no-t grant such a permit if they did
it would allow him to run a business out of his home.
Recommendations were made by Police Chief Frye who had::no objections
to the Board granting this permit and Building Inspector Harold
Collins who feels that the zoning in this area would not allow
this type of service.
The Board voted to continue this for one week to give Mr. Allic
time to meet with the Building Inspector .to. '.see if there may be
any possible solution to this problem.
Selectman Terry roved. Selectman Thomas seconded.
