The Chief feels police survey should be received <br /> before they appoint another full-time special police officer. <br /> 2. Falmouth Road and Gun.Club notified abutters that they intend to use <br /> their property just as they always have. <br /> 3. Mr. Mirphy recommended the Board appoint Chief Martin as municipal <br /> coordinator for the Right-to-Know law. - Selectmen felt they- would likes--- <br /> to discuss this with him first to get his feelings on this. It was <br /> asked that Chief Martin be notified that the Selectmen would like to <br /> meet with him on Tuesday, September 4 at their administrative meeting. <br /> 4. A petition was filed by New <br /> England Telephone to.bury cable beginning westerly of Old Mi11 <br /> Road Intersection, on Southerly side of Route 28. <br /> Mr. Ernest Virgilio, Director of the Department of Public Works <br /> did not see any problem with their proposal. <br /> Selectman Terry motioned to approve said petition as submitted. <br /> Selectmen Thomas seconded. all were in favor. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 5. Selectman Terry motioned to appoint Lisa-Maria Vages and Elinor Walsh <br /> as Board Secretaries. Selectman Thomas seconded. All were in favor. <br /> 6. Selectman Terry brought the Board up-to-Tate as to the selection <br /> of 'Thomas Fudala for Town Planner. Selectman Terry pointed out that the <br /> Personnel Board is waiting for confirmation from schools verifying <br /> education background upon receipt of this he would ask that 'Thomas <br /> Fudala be appointed. <br /> Selectman Thomas moved to appoint Thomas Fudala pending verification <br /> from the school and that he meets all requirements. Selectman Terry <br /> seconded. All were in favor. <br /> 7. The Board received a letter from Ashumet-Johns Pond Association <br /> thanking them for their efforts to gain the Ashumet Pond Study. <br /> 8. The Board reviewed a letter from Mr. Samuelson, Postal Service in <br /> Brockton with regards to the relocation of the Mashpee Post Office. <br />
