Joseph Reardon. <br /> GUESTS: Mr, & Mrs. Robl ins y, Monica from the Enterprise, Arlene Hoxie, <br /> ,doe DiMaggio, W. Martiros, Mike Coronella. <br /> oo p.m. - -Chairman Hanson convened the meting ofJune 1 , 1984. <br /> Se l. Terry moved to approve the minutes of Tune 6, 1984. S e l. Thomas s <br /> seconded. All were in f a.vor. <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS <br /> 7:00 M . Murphy introduced Mike Coronella, Director of Community School <br /> who wanted to give the Board an idea of how the Community School <br /> was going. Mr. Coronella passed out to the Board a copy of the <br /> Surnmer program. He also asked if anyone was 'interested that they <br /> were in reed of a volunteer coordinator for the Community school. <br /> 1 <br /> Chan. Hansom suggested that west the vacancy on the bulletin <br /> board in the hall. <br /> Mr. Coronel.l a also pointed out that the Executive Council gave <br /> approval to offer the school as a conm i ty center. <br /> 7:05 - 7r. Bill Martiros felt that -povisions of control for the use of <br /> the John's Pond Park beach area is needed. W. lartiros also <br /> pointed out '-, few suggestions that would not cost a great Ileal of <br /> money, <br /> Sel. Thomas pointed out that the ,john's P nd Pari. Committee is <br /> working with a zero budget. <br /> Sel. Thomas feels that a game plan i.s needed. <br /> Mr. Murphy explained to Mr. %rtiros that trash barrels had been <br /> placed there with pick uta. of trash for Monday, Wednesday and <br /> Sunday. Also signs will be made and installed within one weed.. <br /> Mr. Virgilio feels through his budget from time to time can <br /> provide additional service to this area. <br /> OLD SSI NESS <br /> 1. Dredging Cbntract - Sel. Thomas moved to award the dredging contract <br /> for waquoit Bay to ajar Marine Corp. of Bourne as per bid for the <br /> amount of $51,100. Sel. Ferry seconded. All were in favor. <br /> 2. ) Mr. Murphy read a letter from the Department of Public Works regarding <br /> the new speed limit on Route 28, <br />
