Selectmen received a communication f-rom town counsel regarding Lawrence Ready <br /> Mix concrete. <br /> Mr. Murphy pointed out that Selectmen requested the opinion of town counsel relative <br /> to a proposed response of E. Ellis Laycock of Atlantic Desing to Lawrence Ready <br /> Mix Concrete. <br /> Town counsel recommended that the Board of Selectmen notify the Building Committee <br /> that they concur with the position being advocated by Ellis Laycock. <br /> Selectmen approved sending this proposed response of E. Ellis Laycock, <br /> 2. Selectmen received a request from the ad -hoc water Supply Committee asking that <br /> an additional Cour months be granted to allow the committee ample time to make a <br /> recommendation to the Beard regarding water Supply systems. <br /> Selectman Thomas pointed out how hard the committee is wording. <br /> Town counsel felt it would be useful to have a me ting with this CommitLee as there <br /> is an area in which the committee needs help. <br /> . Selectmen presented Mr. Anthony Ferragamo and Mr. Wayne Tavares with a certificate <br /> of appreciation for their professional expertise relative to the Design Review <br /> Committee. <br /> 4. Selectman Thomas reported to the Board that the Veteran budget was approved on <br /> this date. Selectmen received a request from the Board of Health asking that space be left <br /> available on the warrant of the annual town meeting for two or three articles. <br /> Mr. Murphy suggested that all articles dealing with review by counsel be in by <br /> February 27th. <br /> Selectman Thomas asked that the deadline be March 1. <br /> Selectmen agreed to make space available for two to three articles for the Board of <br /> Health on the warrant of the annual town meeting.
